Teddie$ 4 Lyfe!

When teddies rule the world. I must make a fur trimmed Teddy. Simply must. I have a lot of extra fur from my Bay to Breakers costume:

This is going to be the start of something incredibly soft, snuggly, and sexy.

Bear Hands

My roommate Bears hands are as big as my feet:

This discovery lead to at least 20min of laughter.

Please note Buck Rogers on the television.

I really dig this show. Mainly for the hair, makeup, costumes, and that tiny robot thing that says "beedy beedy beedy."

A Long Post

I have unending amounts of energy. I'm just so excited to be alive. Perhaps it's the longer days, and sunny weather. But I've found myself running. Running up steep hills just because walking takes too long, running when I get off the bus, and running in tiny circles around my apartment.

Maybe it's the fire red hair:

Since I dyed the hair I've been called Lucy:

Ginger:

Annie:

And Pebbles:

I'm totally cool with all this. I ditched the perm idea because my hairstylist told me I just wanted a change while I waited for my hair to grow a little. I think he was right.

Been Thinking About A Perm

I'm laying on the couch, with all of the windows open, watching An Education, wearing my baithing suit. Warm weather is the best weather in my apartment. It turns the usually smelly, dirty, annoying wreck that my roommates leave it, into a delightful, sun and ocean breeze filled beach apartment. An apartment where bottles of beer laying around and the bad record collection are just reminders of chill evenings, best friends, and being 24.

The other day I spent infront of my mirror, playing with my hair and eyeliner. Here's some photo documentation:

This is all in practice for my perm. I've been growing my hair out. But I suck at it. So I started throwing my locks of hair up into bobbypins. I do enjoy the mess.

The Need To Get Things Rolling

The last time I felt this way was when I watched Star Wars for the first time. Soon after I saw it I decided I wanted to be an astronaught. That didn't happen, but I did go to NASA.

So now when someone asks "what do you wanna be when you grow up?" I'm gonna look them straight in the eye and answer "a rollerderby queen." then I'll punch them in the same eye I was staring at.

And blood, please let there be blood.

Now there is somewhat of a thought process behind this. I've got sass oozing outta my ears, and I tend to have agression towards other people...and by other people, I mean chicks. So I walked myself down to 26th and Mission and purchased myself a pair of rollerskates.

Tenative rollerderby name: Princess Slay-ya (trademarked)

Wish me luck. And pray that I don't break my butt.

Oh yeah, I'm also thinking about buying this moped. The louder the better. That way when I go to work at 5 in the morning...the entire neighborhood will wake up. Heh heh heh.

Intimates As Soft As Eyelashes

Because a pair of boxers hung up to line dry is ugly. I've found more joy in life from lace and nylons than even the richest chocolate brownie. Most important is washing them gently in the sink.
